PANDM lauds Food Safety Administration

People's Action For National Democratic Movement (PANDM) lauded the Food Safety Administration officials who promptly burned the seized tobacco products from a shop owned by Jakku Roy at Ngari Gali on Sep 2, the total of which amounted to more than Rs 1 lakh.
PANDM in a press release that they had seized a large amount of various tobacco products from the shop on September 2 during a drive conducted by the volunteers of PANDM in affiliation with the Food Safety Administration, led by the Designated Officer Tekcham Brojendra Khaba who worked closely with the President of PANDM Yumnamcha Dilipkumar to bring the drive to fruition.  
PANDM expressed their gratitude towards the Food Safety Administration officials  and the police officers who provided timely help.
PANDM stated the need for CSOs to take matters into their own hands in this regard as state agencies are proving ineffective in dealing with this scourge. They further condemned the individuals who resort to selling such illegal items in the name of earning  livelihood and elaborated that their consumption is the cause of several deadly diseases. PANDM also called on all  authorities concerned and the public to support them in all their future endeavours.
