NIT Manipur ranked 114

IMPHAL, Sep 9: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur has been ranked 114 among the technical institutions of India by the Union Minister of Education in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2021 which was announced today.
NIT, Manipur has moved 44 positions above its previous ranking of 158 in the NIRF, 2020, said a statement issued by NIT, Manipur today.
Prof Goutam Sutradhar, Director NIT, Manipur congratulated all the faculty and staff for their perseverance in bringing up the performance of the institute and appreciated their efforts for overall development of the institute.
More than 6,000 colleges and universities were ranked based on parameters including 'Teaching, learning and resources'; 'Research and professional practices'; 'Graduation outcomes'; 'Outreach and inclusivity' and 'Perception' in NIRF which was launched on September 29, 2015.
