AMMDC suspends agitation

THOUBAL, Jan 12: All Manipur Muslim Development Committee has suspended the restrictions imposed on Waqf Board, Manipur and subsequent agitation launched by the committee in connection with the recruitment notice under SPQM Scheme.  
Addressing a press conference held at AMMDC HQ Office in Lilong, Abbas Khan, vice president of AMMDC stated that the agitation was suspended following the implementation of code of conduct for the upcoming Manipur State Assembly election, 2022.
He mentioned that the decision was taken after a thorough discussion between the Advisor Committee and Managing Committee of AMMDC HQ.
He also appealed to the authorities concerned to ensure strict adherence of rules and regulations during the recruitment process to remove any seeds of confusion or distrust among candidates.
Abbas Khan further urged the CSOs of the Meitei-Pangal community to stand together for  betterment of the society.
