Dr Lenin's poetry book released

IMPHAL, Jan 16 : Ashaangba Communication Imphal organised the book release ceremony of an anthology of poems penned by Dr RK Lenin, RIMS Psychiatric Department, titled 'Ningshinglakpada' today.
The book release ceremony was held at Old Manipur Legislative Assembly Museum Hall.
The event was attended by Kangjam Radhakumar, IAS, as chief guest, Padmashree Laishram Nabakishore as guest of honour and AK Sharma, retired Addl Director, Directorate of University and Higher Education as the president.
K Radhakumar lauded RK Lenin for his service to the people as a doctor and added that authoring a book is also a form of public service.
He expressed appreciation towards the Doctor for sharing his life experiences through the written work and mentioned Dr Jodha Chadra Sanasam, a Sahitya Akademi award recipient in this regard.
He further stated that more people ought to share their life experiences through works of this nature as that would elevate the status of Manipuri literature.
