Gold medallists felicitated

IMPHAL, Jan 19: The gold medallists of 6th Federation Cup Jeet Kunedo Championship held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from January 7-9 were accorded a warm welcome by the intending candidate from Patsoi Assembly Constituency, Wahengbam Dineshchandra.
Gold medallists Victor Thiyam, Th Punsiba, N Ningthouhanba and Anushree Rajkumari were felicitated yesterday in a function held at the residence of W Dineshchandra at Patsoi Part-II.
Speaking on the occasion, W Dineshchandra said that the players of the State play a major role in carving a niche for Manipur globally.
He also expressed belief that the upcoming sports persons will bring more laurels to the State if they are guided properly and extended best possible support to them by all.
