'Healthy Sagolband' campaign launched

IMPHAL, Jan 22: A health campaign entitled 'Healthy Sagolband' was launched today by Moirangthem Momo who is intending to contest in the upcoming election from Sagolband Assembly Constituency and was flagged off from his residence at Sagolband Thingom Leikai.
The health campaign will be carried out for 20 days and during the campaign, a team of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff will visit every household of the constituency and will examine the health status of the residents.
Speaking in connection with the health campaign, M Momo said that a well developed health sector will eventually pave way for a progressive Sagolband AC and Manipur in general.
With an aim to strive for the well being of all in terms of health, education and economic status which are inter-related, the health campaign has been organised, he added.
He further stated that the health campaign will focus on  individuals who are 60 years of age and above.
