2nd Balei Festival celebrated

CHANDEL, Jan 21: Chandrapoto Phantu Woman Society in association with Phantu United Sporting Association (PUSA) on Friday organised the 2nd Balei (Yangkok) Festival at PUSA ground, Chandrapoto Phantu village, Chandel district.
During the programme, Yulhung Isaac Chothe, president PUSA delivered the keynote address while MK Binarose proposed the vote of thanks Pastor Rimkung blessed the festival.
Simther Chothe and Thongnaojam Sunder Singh, proprietor Ms Sunder Oil Pump also attended the event as presidium members.
It may be mentioned that stalls displaying handicraft and bamboo craft were opened by villagers at the festival.
