73rd Republic Day celebrated

IMPHAL, Jan 27: The District & Sessions Courts, Imphal West and Imphal East jointly observed the 73rd Republic Day at the Cheirap Court complex yesterday morning.
As a part of the observation, the District and Sessions Judge Imphal West, Aribam Guneshwar Sharma unfurled the National Flag at Cheirap Court building at Uripok in the presence of RK Memcha, District and Sessions Judge Imphal East, M Nilachandra, president of All Manipur Bar Association (AMBA).
Judges of other subordinate Courts, staff of the Courts and bar members also attended the event.
The Republic Day celebration was also held at ADR Centre, Manipur State Legal Services Authority building located at Lamphel Court complex yesterday.
On the occasion, Ojesh Mutum, Member Secretary, MASLSA unfurled the National Flag in the presence of staff of MASLSA, Courts, Police personnel etc.
It may be noted that the National Flag was also unfurled at the Courts of Special Court, ND&PS, Manipur; Family Court, Manipur & Civil Judges (Senior Division) Court Complex.
