Against fake news

IMPHAL, Jan 28 : BJP Sagolband Mandal has exuded confidence that the party will give its ticket for the 12th State  Legislative Assembly election to a person who has been working at the grassroot level in the party's interest.
Speaking to the media at Sega Road Takhellambam Leikai today, Mandal president Dr H Ruhikanta stated that the BJP Sagolband Mandal has been carrying out people oriented programmes based on the   five basic principles of the saffron party.
Saying that he saw an unofficial candidates list of BJP on social media, H Ruhikanta continued that circulating such fake news at this crucial time is uncalled for as it has the tendency to create tension among the people.
He then appealed to all to shun circulation of fake news on any platform.
Maintaining that BJP is a disciplined and cadre based party, he urged the BJP leaders to give the party's ticket to the person who has been working for the development of the party at the grassroot level in Sagolband Constituency.
"Let's all dedicate and work towards Congress Mukh Bharat," he added.
