Ima Sakhi condoled

The Thoubal District United Women’s Development Organization (Thoubal Ima) has expressed their deepest condolences at the untimely demise of Phanjoubam Sakhi Leima fondly known as Ima Sakhi.
In a release, Thoubal Ima recalled the contributions made by Late Phanjoubam Sakhi Leima who was also the president of Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup (AMKIL) for a long time in women related issues, struggle against the AFSPA 1958 and rampant use of illicit substances in the State.
It mentioned that the demise of Ima Sakhi is a huge loss for the State and will leave an irreparable void.
Thoubal Ima also extended their condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
