Jiribam cleanest in NE India

JIRIBAM, Oct 1 : Jiribam was honoured with the top prize for the Clean City Award under Swachh Sur-vekshan 2022 in the category of cities in North East India which has a population of less than 15, 000 people.
This is the third consecutive time Jiribam has been declared the cleanest small city in North East India.
Swachh Survekshan 2022 is an annual cleanliness survey conducted by the  Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.
President Droupadi Mur-mu on Saturday gave away the awards to the winners at an event held at New Delhi.
