COPD & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic inaugurated

IMPHAL, Oct 13: A Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic was inaugurated yesterday at UPHC Kshetrigao.
The inaugural function was organized by National Programme for Prevention & Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases & Stroke (NPCDCS) of District Health Society, Imphal East.
As a part of the programme, World Heart Day was also observed under the theme "Use Heart for Every Heart". Kshetrigao Part 1 Gram Panchayat Pradhan Md Fazlur; Imphal East District Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shamim Ahamad Shah; CMO Imphal East, Dr L Indira Devi and CMO Imphal East, Neurologist Dr N Hemantakumar Singh graced the occasion as the presidium members.
Around 100 patients were treated during the camp and ECG, blood sugar test and BP check up were done for free.
