Senior and Masters Classic Powerlifting C'shipsState Masters team emerge overall champions

IMPHAL, Oct 16 : State Masters team emerged overall champions at the Senior and Masters Classic Powerlifting Championship 2022 held at T Chandrapur, Maharashtra till today since October 12.
In the championships, Masters Athletes won as many as 9 gold medals to earn the overall title. W Ibemhal Devi (Master 3- 52 kg), T Ibemhal Devi (Master 3- 57 kg), L Sobhabati Chanu (Master 2-52 kg), Chongu (Master 3- 63 kg), Y Memtombi Devi (Master 3-76 kg), Th Subadani (Master 4-63 kg), Takhelmayum Lena Devi (MAster 2- 84 kg), Th Kunjarani (Master 4-76 kg) and S Ibeyaima (Master 3- 84 kg) won gold medal.
Meanwhile RK Chandrakumar (Master 4-66 kg), Athokpam Rosy (Master 1-57 kg), Saikhom Thoibi Devi (Master 3-69 kg), S Ibetombi (Master 3-63 kg), Ng Sanatombi (Master 4-63 kg) and W Serabanu (Master 2-84 kg) won silver medals for Manipur in the said championship as Ng Beda Devi (Master 1-76 kg), Th Romita (Master 1- +84 kg), L Sobita (Master 3- 76 kg) and N Subadani Devi (Master 2- +84 kg) won bronze medals.
