FESOK denounces

The Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has denounced the alleged wrongful arrest/detainment of Sanasam Joshua, FESOK general auditor, from his residence at Sawombung Awang Leikai around 2:30 am on October 2.
Reportedly, he was released late this afternoon.
In a statement, FESOK claimed that Sanasam Joshua was arrested in connection with the stir which broke out at Imphal College on September 29 regarding postponing of college election on grounds that the aforementioned FESOK member 'bore resemblance' to some person of interest.
The statement alleged that Sanasam Joshua was detained at Imphal West Commando Complex till his release this afternoon.
FESOK has strongly condemned this alleged act of arresting a student without any proof or evidence and demanded immediate action and clarification from the Home Department.
