46th Kha-Manipur Drama Festival begins

KAKCHING, Oct 9 : Langmeidong Dramatic Union (LDU) in association with Manipur State Kala Akademi today organised the "67th Anniversary of Langmeidong Dramatic Union & Inaugural Ceremony of 46th Kha-Manipur Drama Festival" at LDU Hall, Langmeidong.
It was attended by Tourism Corporation Manipur Ltd chairman & Langthabal AC MLA, Karam Shyam; Hiyanglam AC MLA, Dr Radheshyam Yumnam and Waikhong ZP member, Ch Indrajit as presidium members.
During the event, the book, "Hayengna Kamdouba" written by Thounaojam Ngouba was released.
Karam Shyam also launched the festival souvenir.
Altogether, 16 Theater Group of the State will participate in the festival which will be held till October 18.
