CCpur, Nov 16 : While welcoming the move of the State Government to hold a recruitment drive for ADC, the Kuki Students Organization (KSO) and Zomi Students Federation (ZSF) have issued a joint statement placing several conditions to consider before going ahead with the drive.
The KSO and ZSF urged the State Government to declare pending results of the recruitment drives.
The student bodies said that applicants for the recruitment drive of ADC must be made to produce a certificate of domicile and Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) in Churachandpur district.
It also said that domicile and proof of residency i.e., PRC should be checked for applicants who have applied earlier.
Continuing that all applicants applying for different posts at ADC-Churachandpur should be registered with and supported by the Churachandpur Employment Exchange Office, KSO and ZSF maintained that applicants registered with and sponsored by employment exchange offices outside the district should summarily be rejected.
It further stated that only the applicants who are proficient in one the recognised dialects of the Churachandpur must be allowed to take the exam.
'To ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process, all data (hard and soft) collected from the applicants must be preserved," it added.
Furthermore, the student bodies said they will not hesitate in taking up stern measures such as banning  the recruitment process, if their conditions are not met.
