Tingkao Ragwang Kalum Kai inaugurated

IMPHAL, Nov 8: The inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed 'Tingkao Ragwang Kalum Kai' (House of worship Tingkao Ragwang) was held today at Ragailong in Imphal East district.
Speaking as the chief guest of the occasion, Hill Areas Committee Manipur Chairman, Dinganglung Gangmei stressed on the need of preserving the rich and unique cultural and traditional heritage of the indigenous communities to ensure that the upcoming generations carry forward the legacy.
He also appealed to all to trace the origin of their respective communities and be well aware of one's roots.
He further sought the blessings of Tingkao Ragwang for peace and prosperity of all.
Wangkhei Assembly Constituency MLA, Thangjam Arunkumar while speaking at the occasion, underscored the importance of safeguarding the culture and tradition to retain  the identity of one's own community.
One should prioritise preserving their respective culture and tradition, he added.
A report book was also published during the inaugural ceremony which was organised by Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak Phom (TRCP)
TRCP Ragailong, president Longmei Poucharei; permanent invitee, TRCP (AMN), Kadum Kamson; former Minister O Henry; ABV Kalyan Ashram Vice-President, Satyendra Singh; Nampou Golthangmei Kakhangai and Namgakpou Kamei Gaingamlung Kabui of Ragailong Pei also attended the  event as the presidium members.
