Discourse on "Manipuri Literature and Culture" held

IMPHAL, Dec 20
A one day discourse on "Manipuri Literature and Culture" was conducted today at the Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat, in Imphal East district.
The discourse was organised by the Department of Manipuri under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college.
Professor Nahakpam Aruna, Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University and Dr Waikhom Romesh, Assistant Professor in Manipuri, Ghanapriya Women’s College, Dhanamanjuri University were the key resource persons of the programme, said a press release by the Department of Manipuri, Ideal Girls' College. A large number of faculty and research scholars from different institutions of the State along with teachers and students of the college attended the programme.
L Iboyaima Singh, Principal, Ideal Girls’ College presided over the function.
The lectures were followed by a lively interaction session.
