64th CC Meet in February next year

IMPHAL, Dec 28 : The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) is eyeing to organise 64th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial Invitation Football Tournament 2022-23 popularly known as CC Meet from the second week of February.
As per a memorandum issued by AMFA, this edition of the marquee football event will draw 38 entries, 10 teams from 15th Manipur State League; 8 teams from 2nd AMFA Cup 2022-23; 14 teams from Winners Cup 2022-23; 2 from other districts and 4 teams from other States.
Registration of players in the CRS and CMS is mandatory for all participating teams, the memorandum continued.
In a separate notification, AMFA called up Thangminlen Misao in place of L Sudhir Singh for 3rd phase coaching cum trial for preparation of Manipur team for the 76th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy. Thangminlen Misao has to report to the manager and coach on December 29 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong by 8 am tomorrow, it said.
