Healer Conclave culminates

TAMENGLONG, Feb 10
The seven days healers conclave organised by 44 Assam Rifles, IGAR ( East) concluded on Thursday at Tamenglong in true spirit of a Jan Andolan and Jan Seva abhiyan.
On the last day, Dr RK Lenin, HOD of Psychiatry, RIMS virtually addressed the attendee, said a statement of PIB Defence Wing.
Dr RK Lenin spoke about drug de-addiction and psychiatric morbidity among student athletes.
During the interactive session, he informed the gathering about issues related to mental health problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also stressed for early detection and diagnosis of disorders like depression and mental stress.
Dr RK Lenin is a renowned doctor having authored 39 scientific papers to his credit with two bestseller books written by him.
His book "Eidee Ngaoshu Ngaodana" is in Manipuri language about common mental disorders and second is a poem collection titled "Ningsinglakpada".
