Foundation Day celebrated

Chandel, Feb 18: The 42nd Foundation Day of United College, Lambung, Chandel was celebrated at its Arts Block on Friday.
It was attended by United College principal, Dr BD Thumdal; Ng Elishima Monsang, wife of former principal late Th Oliver Monsang; Alumni Association president and District Food Safety Officer, Dr Sh Wilson; teaching and non-teaching staff of the college; and students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr BD Thumdal stated that the future of the college depends on its teaching & non-teaching staff and students.
Elaborating on the history of the college, Dr BD Thumdal said that the college has produced many prominent individuals over the years and will continue to do so in the future.
Later, a two minute silence was observed to pay respect to the deceased faculties and members of the College's Governing Body.
