H Nutanchandra expresses gratitude

IMPHAL, Feb 2: The Congress candidate from Thangmeiband Assembly  Constituency in the ensuing State Legislative Assembly Election, Hijam Nutanchandra alleged that Thangmeiband AC is in a regressive state owing to incompetent leadership.
He made the above statement while speaking to media persons during a press meet held at his residence at Thangmeiband Thingel Maru today.
He further stated that he will work sincerely adhering to the principles and ideals of Congress Party under the supervision of Party leaders and expressed gratitude to Congress Party for having faith in him thereby presenting him with the party ticket.
While recounting the achievements of 15 years Congress rule under the leadership of former Chief Minister, O Ibobi, he said that AFSPA 1958 was withdrawn from seven Assembly segments in Manipur and jobs were provided to many unemployed youths in the State.
Affirming his stand to make Thangmeiband AC a developed constituency, he appealed to all to extend support to him so that he emerges victorious in the upcoming election.
Also he appealed to all concerned to produce a white paper regarding the works taken up during 2012-2021 in Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency.
