National workshop commences

IMPHAL, Feb 2
A three-day workshop on the theme 'National workshop on motivation on research' jointly organised by Manipur University Research and Development Cell and Manipur University Research Club was kicked off yesterday at the VC's Court Hall, Manipur University.
In a statement, Manipur University Research and Development Cell shared that the event was graced by SK Srivastava, former vice chancellor NEHU as the chief guest, Dr L Bishwanath Sharma, Dean, Students' Welfare, Manipur University and Professor K Yugindro as guests of honour and Professor L Warjeet Singh as president of the function.
The main goal of the workshop is to encourage the youth to step into the field of research and to delineate the contribution of research scholars in NIRF ranking and parameters of NACC assessment. Further, the workshop also aims to highlight the benefits of research work, the statement informed.
Students from various institutions and research scholars alike attended the workshop which will be held till February 3.
