JAC continues protest

THOUBAL, Feb 1 : JAC Against the Brutal Killing of N Rohit staged a sit-in protest at Heirok Part II Mayai Leikai, today.
At the protest demonstration, mother of N Rohit, N Eshabi asked why the State Government is not able to retrieve the weapon used in killing her son and not punishing the killer (s) till date.
Further asking what was her son's fault, she urged the State  Government to reward befitting punishment to all the killer (s).
Later, the protesters raised several slogans such as "Hang the Killers" and "NSA for all the Killers" among others.
It may be mentioned that the JAC had announced to continue its series of protests until justice is delivered.
Ningthoujam Rohit,  s/o Premchandra of Heirok Part II Mayai Leikai was shot dead by a group of armed miscreants while his father N Premchand was grievously injured in the attack in the wee hours of December 22.
