Annual meeting held

JIRIBAM, Feb 27: Umanglai Ngakshel Lup, Cachar Sonai on Sunday organised its annual meeting at the office of Barak Museum in Cachar Bantarapur.
Oinam Krishnachandra, president Umanglai Ngakshel Lup, Cachar Sonai attended the meeting as the presidium member.
Prominent personalities from Cachar including KN Chand, advocate Ramakanta, Mutum Babaton Singh, and RK Gopal Sana also attended the meet.
The meet also deliberated on various topics including yearly expenditure, upgrading of Umanglai Sanglen and the religious ritual of Chingoi Eruppa (Baruni).
It may be noted that the annual ritual of Chingoi Eruppa (Baruni) will be held on March 30 for this year.
