IMPHAL, Mar 17 : The Communist  Party of India - Manipur State Council (CPI-MSC) has stated that the inability of the BJP to elect its legislative party leader till now flags discord within the party.
A press release issued by CPI-MSC  continued that the BJP is yet to stake claim to form Government in the State as there is impasse within the party over the naming of BJP  legislative party leader.
Claiming that this discord within the BJP arises as there are no sincere BJP MLAs who can dedicatedly work for the upliftment of the State, the Left party claimed that the BJP high command might be reluctant to officially declare the Caretaker Chief Minister as the leader of the BJP legislative party as the latter allegedly stepped into family politics.
It further claimed that the crisis within the party will have an adverse effect in governance and there will never  be a stable Government even if the BJP chooses the leader of the legislative party on the advice of its high command.
Even if the BJP elects its leader, the dissenting group will start dissenting to change whoever is chosen as the Chief Minister  as seen in the last five year and as such the Government will not be able to function smoothly, the Left party claimed.
