Dr Deven named for literary award

IMPHAL, Mar 17 : The State Government has conferred the prestigious Manipur State Award for Literature 2021 to Dr  Irungbam  Deven for his book Malangbana Kari Hairi published in 2017.
Director of Language Planning and Implementation, Th Chitra Devi said that the award is sponsored by the Government since 2008-2009 to honour the Manipuri writers for their contribution to Manipuri literature.
The award carries Rs 3 lakh, a plaque and a citation.
