ZUF clarifies

IMPHAL, Mar 17
The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has clarified that Samson Kamei (42), s/o Jaolung Kamei of Kambiron village and Jona Thaimei (38), s/o Khamdinlung Thaimei of Khoupum village are innocent and not members of the ZUF.
In a release, ZUF informed that the duo were falsely alleged as members of the ZUF with a cooked up and fabricated narrative by the law enforcing agency.
ZUF further clarified that the two persons who were arrested on March 16, 2022 from Kanglatongbi, Santipur were not connected nor members of the organisation.
