Sport Climbing : Dr K Romeo in National Selection Committee

The Manipur Sport Climbing Association (MASCA) has expressed delight over the inclusion of Dr Kangabam Romeo Meetei, National Grade-I Judge who is also the president of the association, in the National Selection Committee by Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), New Delhi ahead of the team preparation for the 19th Asian Games which is slated to be held at Hangzhou China this year.
Dr K Romeo is the only National Judge from Manipur, said the Manipur Sports Climbing Association in a statement.
A National level selection trial will be held at Bengaluru from March 25 to 27 by the IMF, it said while adding that Dr Romeo is also the secretary of the IMF North East Zone.
MASCA and IMF-NE Zone further wished him grand successes in the assignment given to him as a National Selector for the Asian Games.
