116 SOPs violators detained

IMPHAL, Mar 3
The State Police detained 116 (one hundred and sixteen) persons today and released after warning for violating Covid restrictions and guidelines issued by the Government and State Disaster Management Authority and fined a sum Rs 15, 000 (Fifteen thousand rupees) as per law.
The cumulative figure of people detained now stands at 1,60,107 (One lakh  sixty thousand one hundred and seven) while the cumulative fine collected till date is 2,65,43,160 (Two crore sixty five lakh forty three thousand one hundred and sixty).
The Police Department warned that those who violate the guidelines and restrictions shall be dealt with strong legal action under National Disaster Management Act, 2005 and other appropriate laws.
