State Indian Round Archers bag 8 medals at Senior Nationals

IMPHAL, Mar 29 : The Manipur Indian Round Archer won as many as 8 medals including three gold, 3 silver and two bronze in the 41st NTPC Senior National Archery Championship for Men and Women held at Jammu from March 21 to 28.
Th Hellar produced a stellar performance winning three gold medals at the championship, one each in 30 m, individual event and another in the mixed team event along with O Naobi Chanu, said Manipur Archery Association in a release.
W Maleshori Devi also won women's individual silver as O Naobi grabbed another silver medal in the women's 50 m event. M Baby also won Manipur a bronze medal in the 30 m competition, it said.
State's Indian round women team comprising of Okram Naobi Chanu, M Baby, W Maleshori and Sarju Ningthoujam bagged a bronze while men's team of Keisham Borish Singh, H Bijendranath Singh, Ch Harichandra Singh and Th Hellar added a silver to State's tally, the release continued.
