"Thang-Ta Instructor Training Course" concludes

The "5-Day Thang-Ta Instructor Training Course" organised by the  HR Department of Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong Lup (AMHLL) came to a close today at Kongba Kshetri Leikai.
The training programme saw a healthy participation of 40 Thang-Ta teachers and they were provided participation certificates, said a statement of AMHLL.
The training course was organised with an eye to enhancing the teaching skills of teachers who are imparting Thang-Ta subject to Class IX to XII students by emphasising on the prescribed school syllabus, it said.
AMHLL also noted insufficiency of Thang-Ta teachers in schools across the State and pledged that it will strive for preserving and promoting the indigenous martial art form at its best.
It also sought support from all sections of the society to contribute towards the cause.
