GC CRPF-Imphal hosts Inter GC/Bn Yoga Competition

The Group Centre CRPF, Imphal today hosted an Inter GC/ Bn (ADM/OPS) Yoga Competition of Manipur and Nagaland Sector at GG CRPF, Langjing.
Nine Group Centres (GC) under Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF viz- GC Imphal, 32 Bn, 69 Bn, 86 Bn, 78 Bn, 87 Bn, 109 Bn, 143 Bn and 173 Bn participated in the two-day yoga competition which began yesterday, said a press statement issued by the PRO of DIG, GC CRPF Imphal.
The closing ceremony of the competition was attended by Dinesh Singh, Commandant of GC CRPF, Langjing as the chief guest in the presence of all senior officers, SOs and jawans.
173 Bn CRPF emerged on top of the knock-out competition while 143 Bn finished second, the statement.
The chief guest of the function distributed trophies and medals to the winners and runners up teams, it said while adding that CT/GD Chhajuram Yadav of 173 Bn was declared "Best Yoga Player of the competition".
The chief guest congratulated all the participating teams   and for making the competition grand success, the statement said.
The chief guest also lauded 173 Bn and 143 Bn teams for the professional manner they have showcased during the event and expressed hope that they would bring laurel to the organisation at the inter force level event like All India Police Meet and other National level events, the statement added.
