NCC organises Puneet Sagar Abhiyan

The National Cadet Corps on Sunday organised Puneet Sagar Abhiyan, a nationwide campaign to highlight the importance of cleanliness in the surroundings and eliminate single use plastic.
As part of the campaign, 1 Manipur Air Squadron NCC organised rallies and drawing competitions at three different locations, said a statement of PIB Defence Wing.
A total of 77 cadets of 1 (M) Air Squadron NCC participated in the same.
Various handmade posters were carried by Air Wing NCC cadets of NIT Manipur and DM University during the rally. Cadets also spread awareness on elimination of single use plastic.
Moreover, 25 cadets of JNV Bishnupur Higher Secondary School and 26 cadets of Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School also took part in the drawing competition at Moirang.
