IMPHAL, Apr 8
The Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has claimed that the Class  X board examination was found conducted unfairly in some examination centres with students enjoying a free hand to copy  today.
A press release issued by DESAM said that they took out an inspection drive at certain examination centres at Heirok, Lilong and Khangabok and witnessed students freely copying from answer sheets.
Saying that DESAM sent three teams to inspect the conduct of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) examination at many centres, it added that the team which went to Heirok High School and Heirok Higher Secondary School found students there copying from  answer sheets which don't even  break the sequence of questions asked in today's paper.
The other team also found students using unfair means to score high marks at Crescent English School Lilong, Lilong Higher Secondary School and Khangabok Higher Secondary School among others too.
The student body appealed all to conduct the board examinations in its truest form in future to ensure that students do not become victims of such malpractices.
