2 two-wheelers recovered, 1 held

BPR/TBL, May 12: In a follow-up action to an FIR registered at Bishnupur police station, a combined team of Bishnupur commandos and Anti-Vehicle Theft Cell of Bishnupur Police recovered two two-wheelers-one Activa 6G (grey colour) and one TVS Ntorq (black colour) from Torbung area.
In connection with the two latest FIRs registered at Bishnupur police station regarding lifting of vehicles, three individuals have been arrested and three four-wheelers and 12 two-wheelers have been recovered.
On the other hand, Thoubal Police arrested one Ayaz Khan alias AAK (51) s/o late Nazimuddin of Moijing Wangmataba Makha Leikai while searching his house today at around 6.30 am in connection with an FIR registered at Thoubal police station.
Notably, Ayaz Khan had managed to escape from his house during a police raid conducted on May 10 as a part of an anti-vehicle theft drive.
Nonetheless, four two-wheelers viz; Swiss 125 (black, no registration number), KTM RC (black with green panel, with no registration number), Honda  Dio (blue with registration number MN 04 B 6725) and Activa (grey with no registration number and partly disassembled) were recovered during the raid.
