Dachhbanta Samom promoted

Imphal, May 18 (DIPR) : Dachhbanta Samom, son of Kunjeshwar Samom and Ibemcha Devi of Sega Road Khwairakpam Leikai has been promoted to Director (Interpretation) of Lok Sabha.
A notice to this effect was issued by Savdha Kalia, Deputy Secretary, Indian Parliament House, New-Delhi today.
Earlier he worked as a journalist at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Manipur.
Dachhbanta Samom is the first from amongst the Meitei community to become Director in the Parliament of India. He completed his MA & LLB at Delhi University.
