Uniforms, books, stationeries distributed to BPL students

IMPHAL, May 21
To encourage the students belonging to impoverished families towards education, three sets of school uniforms, books and stationeries were distributed to 24 NEC sponsored Below Poverty Line (BPL) students by the Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Mantripukhri today.
Pragati Sharawat, Regional President, ARWWA distributed the items to the students in the presence of Brigadier Sushim Biswas, Chairman, Col. Tushar Dhasmana, Vice-Chairman, Dr Alka Jain, Principal ARPS, Mantripukhri and other members of school management committee, said a statement by Principal, ARPS Mantripukhri.
After the programme, Pragati Sharawat interacted with the students and motivated them to be diligent in their studies and wished them success for their future endeavours.
She also interacted with the faculties of the school and encouraged them to strive for excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic fields, added the statement.
