CADA impounds IMFL

IMPHAL, May 26 : Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth about Rs 2 lakh from Kakwa Huidrom Leikai, today.
A press release issued by CADA said that the liquors - Sterling Reserve full (12 bottles), Sterling Reserve half (16 bottles), McDowell full (12 bottles), McDowell half (26 bottles), Blenders Pride full (12 bottles), OC Blue full (8 bottles), Old Monk full (8 bottles), Old Monk half (18 bottles), Royal Stag Barrel Select full (5 bottles), Royal Stag Barrel Select half (24 bottles), Royal Stag Deluxe full (8 bottles), Signature quarter (26 bottles); Hundred Piper full (2 bottles), Black Dog full (1 bottle), Teachers full (1 bottle) and Kingfisher beer (48 cans) were seized from Huidrom John (34), s/o H Manglem of Kakwa Huidrom Leikai.
It continued that the seized liquors were disposed of at Canchipur opposite Manipur University Main Gate.
