FLAM, ATVFA draw in 4th Sangai Trophy

IMPHAL, May 29 : FLAM, Yaiskul and ATVFA, Thangmeiband played out a 1-1 draw to share a point each in a Group A league match of the 4th Sangai Trophy Veteran Football Championship at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong today.
The first half saw the two sides drawing blank despite chances but it were ATVFA who found the breakthrough goal in the 44th minute via Khupneingam.
The lead however did not last long as FLAM rallied back with Lempa scoring the equaliser within five minutes the Thangmeiband side had taken the lead. Lack of finesse, despite chances, forced the two sides to settle the game in a 1-1 draw.
