Fresh guidelines issued

IMPHAL, May 5
To regulate and facilitate smooth access to the Manipur secretariat complex, the State Government has issued fresh guidelines to be followed by people with a valid car pass.
According to Deputy Secretary (GAD), Sunanda Thokchom , vehicles with valid car passes (red and blue) will be allowed to enter and park inside the Manipur Secretariat Blocks (South, North, Ministerial and Western).
Red car pass shall be issued to Government vehicles of Ministers and VIPs allotted office spaces in the  Manipur Secretariat, Secretariat Officers of rank of Secretary and above and GAD pool vehicles while blue pass shall be issued to Secretariat officer of rank of Deputy Secretary and above and below the rank of Secretary, it read.
 As per the fresh direction, vehicles with green pass will be parked in the Government Parking (Western side of NH 39 from approach road of Kuki Inn to Telephone Bhavan).
Green pass shall be issued to Government vehicles of Head of Departments and Government/private vehicles of Secretariat Officers/officials.
Two wheelers and GAD's auto-rickshaw with yellow pass will be allowed inside Secretariat complex after checking the identity card of the riders.
