CRPF conducts "Hindi workshop"

Group Centre, CRPF on Friday organised a Station Level Hindi Workshop at its campus in Imphal.
 The workshop was inaugurated by Madan Kumar, DIG, GC, CRPF Imphal in the presence of Dinesh, Commandant, GC, Imphal and other officers, said a release issued by GC CRPF Imphal.
Speaking on the occasion, Madan Kumar stated that the Government of India has given more emphasis to increase the use of Hindi in day-to-day official correspondence and therefore Hindi workshops are necessary to impart practical training.
He spoke on the overall development and popularity of Hindi literature all over the world and the relation of Vedic with Greek language.
The DIG also delivered lectures on "Cultural and financial importance of Hindi" and "Problems and solutions for working in Hindi".
Dinesh elaborated on noting, drafting and types of letters in Hindi while Satyendra Singh, Assistant Commandant (Official Language) spoke on filling of quarterly progress reports manual/online and implementation of Official Language Rules.
