86 Bn CRPF observes 38th Rising Day

86 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) observed its 38th Rising Day at Lamphelpat, Imphal West today.
The event commenced with Md Yusuf, Commandant, 86 Bn  paying homage to martyrs, followed by a ceremonial function at Quarter Guard and Sainik Sammelan, a statement from CRPF has informed.
A tree plantation initiative and a fair was also organised to commemorate the 38th Raising Day.
Aside from this, a colourful cultural event was organised in the evening which was attended by Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS, Principal Secretary Home; L Kailun, IPS, ADG, Manipur Police; Manish Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, IGP, Manipur and Rajesh Kamble, IPS with other distinguished guests, the statement added.
A "Bada Khana" was also organised to mark the day.
