20th foundation day observed

THOUBAL, May 31 : The 20th foundation day of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Thoubal District Branch, Wangjing was observed today in a solemn ceremony held at Khorirol Sanglen, Wangjing.
As part of the foundation day observance ceremony, 'Dr Soibam Kumar Memorial Lecture' was also conducted in which Tekcham Rameshwor presented a lecture on 'Intellectual Property Rights" and  Dr Sanasam Nabadweep on 'Myth amasung puwari gi mityeng dagi taibangpal semlakpa'.
Following this, a slam poetry presentation was conducted moderated by Yengkhom Indira. Altogether, 25 poets presented their works during this event.
The event was also attended by M Rajendra, president, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Thoubal District Branch, T Babulal, president, Khorirol Sandoklup Wangjing,  Khundongbam Gunamani,  president, Ningol Khut Manipur Wangjing as well as many literature enthusiasts.
