Summer vegetable seeds distributed

A distribution programme of summer vegetable seeds programme was held at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bishnupur today.
The programme was held in collaboration with the Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Bishnupur, Govt of Manipur, said a press release by Senior Scientist and Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Bishnupur.
As a part of the programme, P Bijaya Devi, SMS-Horticulture and Dr A Tarajit Singh, SMS-Agricultural Extension also conducted a training programme on scientific cultivation of cucumber, chilli and okra during summer season for higher return and formation and importance of Farmers Producer Organisation (FPO).
Altogether 30 farmers participated in today's programme, added the release.
