Meritorious students feted

Kabui Union Manipur held a felicitation ceremony today in honour of Golmei Gaihemmei and Palmei Lungaiphun Kabui who secured the 1st (Arts) and 5th (Commerce) positions respectively in the Higher Secondary Examination 2022 conducted by COHSEM.
The felicitation function was held at Kabui Community Hall located in Majorkhul and was graced by many elders and intellectuals of the Kabui community, a statement from Kabui Union Manipur has informed.
Kabui Union, Manipur has also expressed pride on behalf of the Kabui community at the achievement of the two exemplary Kabui students.
The two toppers were presented with simple gifts in recognition of their academic success during the ceremony.
It may be noted that Golmei Gaihemmei is the daughter of G Katazinpou of Langthabal Khoupum Kabui Khul and Palmei Lungaiphun Kabui is the son of P Sanabung Kabui of Namthalong Kabui Khul, Thangmeiband.
