MSC/CPI condoles

Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) organised a condolence meeting at Irawat Bhawan Complex in connection with the passing of Khundrakpam Jugeshwor Singh, former state councillor of MSC/CPI,  on June 11 due to an illness.
In a statement, MSC/CPI shared that the condolence meeting was presided over by L Sotinkumar, state secretary, CPI.
The gathering also observed a two-minute silence in honour of the deceased.
 Khundrakpam Jugeshwor Singh, former president of AIYF, partook in many social movements for the inclusion of Manipuri language in the Eight Schedule, repeal of AFSPA and corruption, the statement added.
MSC/CPI further added that in recognition of his efforts, he had been invited and proceeded to participate in an international youth festival in North Korea.
MSC/CPI also shared in the grief of the bereaved family.
