One found dead

KAKCHING, Jun 13 : Kakching police picked up one unknown dead body from the side of the road stretch   which connects Kakching, Sora and Tekcham, today.
As per police, the deceased who is suspected to be a Meitei and around 40 years in age was detected by morning joggers and some farmers.
Police have also expressed that the  man might have been dumped there after being killed or hit by a vehicle. The deceased has a ruptured windpipe suspected to be cut by a sharp object and bruises on some of his body parts.
The corpse has been deposited at JNIMS morgue for autopsy.
Kakching police have also registered a case.
