BJP committed to save Manipur : CM

IMPHAL, Jun 16 : Chief Minister N Biren Singh has categorically stated  that the BJP is devoted to save Manipur.
The Chief Minister made this statement during the valedictory ceremony of the two-day State executive meeting held at Sadbhavna Mandap, Kangpokpi today.
"The people have faith in BJP and the party workers must conduct public affairs with this in mind", he said.
All State planning must be done  to represent the interests of future generations, the Chief Minister said and added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also committed to make Manipur a more peaceful and progressive State.
The Chief Minister further stated that politicians must guide bureaucrats in the right direction and not the other way around.
"The bureaucrats won't be sincere if us politicians lack sincerity," he said.
Saying that there is no sign of unity in Manipur, N Biren continued that the BJP is only starting
to piece the State
together which has been shattered by unethical politicians.
He highlighted the core principle of the BJP party, stating that the concept of Nation-building is at the heart of the party.
Stressing upon the need to discuss the history of BJP and its leaders, N Biren must work wholeheartedly to foster a sense of brotherhood among the different communities so as to create a strong Manipur.
The Chief Minister further stated that the BJP is committed to continue the War on Drugs 2.0 campaign so as to remove drug menace from the State.
A Sarda Devi, president BJP State Unit, also addressed the gathering and lauded the party workers for their contribution in the 2022 State Assembly elections.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr Sambit Patra, BJP National spokesperson; Abhay Kumar, State general secretary organisation and BJP Ministers and MLAs among others.
