BWWA organises blood donation camp

IMPHAL, Jun 17
The BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) of 29 Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF), Koirengei on Friday organised a blood donation camp under the aegis of Sector Headquarter BSF CI (Ops) Manipur.
The camp was conducted in coordination with Shija Blood & Transfusion Services, Health Village Langol, Imphal West, said a release issued by 29 Bn BSF.
Renu Rawat, wife of Dinesh Singh Rawat, DIG Sec HQ BSF CI (Ops) Manipur inaugurated the camp in the presence of Dinesh Singh Rawat; Dr J C Anal, CMO (SG) SHQ BAS CI (Ops) Manipur; M S Rapswal, DC/QM 29 Bn BSF; Dr Yangba Salam, MO in-charge of Blood Center and 7 para-medics of Shija Blood Bank & Transfusion Services.
A total of 10 units of blood was donated voluntarily at the camp.
Nandini Rawat, d/o D S Rawat; Suman Rapswal w/o Mahinder Singh Rapswal and family members of SHQ and 29 Bn BSF also took part in the blood donation camp.
